A 360-degree panoramic view from the European Southern Observatory on La Silla, Chile, in a partly cloudy night where high cirrus clouds form the 22-degree moon halo, a luminous ring, sometimes seen around the sun or the moon, caused by refraction by small ice particles high in the atmosphere.
