The sun, Venus, the Moon, and Jupiter (left to right) all seem to rise from the same point on the horizon behind the Fire Island Lighthouse in this early morning photo taken January 26, 1995 from Long Island,NY,overlooking Fire Island. Clearly shows the "ecliptic" (the imaginary plane the moon, sun, and planets follow through space in our solar system). Note also the Moon's position as it seems to move "east" compared to "stationary" Venus and Jupiter. Minolta XE-7 and 50 mm lens. Exposures every 6 minutes.
