A restorer at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts preparing the mummy Tabes for its CT scan at Brigham and Woman's Hospital. She is using epoxy to lessen the already chipping shell. This 4-foot mummy was a temple singer who lived about 950 B.C. and died in her early 30's. The CT scan allows scientists to see what she really looked like without opening the sarcophagus.
