Iguazu falls, a World Heritage Site and widely considered as one of the new Seven Wonders of the world. They are named after the Guarani word for 'great water', and are four times the width of Niagara Falls. They are divided into 274 separate waterfalls by islands. The most impressive of these is the Devil's Throat, which is a tightly curved cataract that reaches 82 meters high, 150 meters wide and 700 meters long. The Iguazu Falls extend across the Argentinean-Brazilian border, with two thirds being within Argentine territory.
