Cumulus mediocris clouds.Cumulus mediocris clouds are slightly larger than cumulus humilis clouds and occur at altitudes below 2000 meters. These clouds do not produce precipitation. All cumulus clouds show noticeable vertical development and clearly defined edges. They are often described as puffy in appearance. Cumulus clouds are often precursors of other types of clouds.
