Entitled: "Les Etrennes ou Le Tronc Des Gar癟ons chez Noel, Rue St. Jacques No. 16. Des au Beau des Estampes" shows a public restroom and a man wearing an overcoat, boots, and hat adjusting his suspenders; another man stands next to him holding a tankard with an opening for change and a padlock on it, he is selling papers for use as toilet paper. Toilet humor is a type of off-color humor dealing with defecation, urination, and flatulence, and to a lesser extent vomiting and other body functions. Toilet humor is popular among a wide range of ages, but is especially popular with children and teenagers, for whom cultural taboos related to acknowledgement of waste excretion still have a degree of novelty.
