Constructed in 1895, and named for Columbia's 12th president Seth Low, the Low Memorial Library houses the offices of the President, along with Columbia's archival collection. Mc Kim, Meade, and White were the architects, and the architectural style is based on the Pantheon in Rome and Greece. It is crowned with the largest all granite dome in North America.
