Iron ores. Magnetite (left) and limonite (right) are common iron ores. Magnetite is composed of iron oxide (Fe3O4, iron(II,III) oxide). It is a naturally-occurring ferromagnetic and can be magnetized to become a permanent magnet. Limonite is composed of various hydrated iron(III) oxide-hydroxides.
