The Pronghorn Antelope's (Antilocapra americana) prong like horns are the most prominent feature its body. Each horn will rise straight up from the forehead and divide so that one tip will project forward and the other will project to the ear with an inward tip. The horns are composed of a bony core in a horn sheath. They do not shed the horn completely, only the outer sheath. Custer State Park, SD.
