The Snow Goose (Chen caerulescens) is 19 inches in length and has a wingspan of 58-59 inches. They are a pure white goose with black wing tips, pink bill with black "lips" and pink legs. Snow geese migrate approx. 3,000 miles from their Arctic breeding grounds to their southern wintering areas. They can average 50 miles per hour and attain an altitude of 2,900 ft during migration.
