Sunflower Star (Pycnopodia helianthoides) typically have 24 arms and a broad disc covered with a soft skin. The ventral or oral face of the star has tube feet for locomotion and for gripping prey. A good sized sunflower star has 15,000 tube feet and is capable of moving rather fast.
