Chipping Sparrows (Spizella passerina) usually have a clutch of four eggs in a nest lined with hair or very fine plant fibers. They are widespread, fairly tame, and common across their North American range. In eastern North America, Chipping Sparrows breed in woodlands, farmlands, and suburban and urban districts.
