Stonemason Toadlet (Uperoleia lithmoda). Family: Myobatrachidae. The Stonemason Toadlet is a very small semi-burrowing frog that occurs widely over northern Australia in open forests and woodlands. It grows to around 2.5 cms in length. Its specific name (and common name) is derived from its call -- a single sharp click that sounds like a hammer striking stone. Mt. Carbine, North Queensland, Australia.
