Camouflaged looper or wavy-lined emerald (Synchlora aerata), adorned with small pieces of black-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia sp.) petals. S. aerata is a small inchworm that practices behavioral crypsis by chewing pieces of its host plants and using silk to attach the chewed leaves and petals to roughened projections on the dorsal surface of its body.
