Female Nursery Web Spider (Pisaurina mira). After laying her eggs, the Nursery Web Spider will wrap them into a silk egg sac. She will then carry the egg sac in her chelicerae until hatching time. When hatching time arrives, the female will build a "nursery" in which the eggs can hatch. The nursery consists of a few leaves woven together with silk. which forms a protective pocket into which the egg sac is placed.
