Guatemalan Howler Monkey (Alouatta pigra) in Belize. Howler monkeys are the largest New World monkeys. They howl extremely loudly to advertise their presence in their territory. With a lifespan of about 20 years, they inhabit Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. Howler monkeys feed on fruit, leaves and flowers. They use their prehensile tail to suspend themselves from branches while feeding.
