SCHOOL The entrance of the 'Michele Coppino' elementary school in Turin on the first day of the school year 1955/1956: the children are waiting for the door to allow them to enter. Born as a rural school with the name 'Crocetta School'; whose presence was already established in 1876; in 1903 the elementary occupied the new building built in an area first occupied by an orphanage; and is titled to the Minister of Public Education promoter Of the law that; struggling with illiteracy; led to three years of compulsory schooling and gratuity up to the fifth elementary school.
