Shanghai city is one of the world's fastest growing cities in terms of skyscraper construction. Shanghai Tower (Shanghai Zhongxin Dasha); 632 metres tall; 128 floors above ground. Located in Luijiazui area of Shanghai Pudong - now a dominant feature on the city's skyline when seen from the historic Bund. Presently world's second tallest building by height to architectural top. Designed by international firm Gensler - it is the talest of the world's first triple adjacent super tall buildings in Pudong - the other two are Jin Mao Tower and Shanghai World Financial Center. Shanghai Tower was constructed between November 2008 and September 2015.
