View of the oil pipe-line to Prudhoe Bay; August 2008; from the various fields of extraction the oil pipe-lines leave that converge then in the Transalaska Pipeline. The Transalaska Pipeline is one of the longer oil pipe-lines of the world (800 miles): part from Prudhoe bay and ends in the port of Valdez.
