POETRY Mary Alinda Bonacci Brunamonti (1841 - 1903) Italian poet; began very young to compose verse of a religious nature. The recovery of the Risorgimento movement and the repression of the revolt of the papal Perugia on 20 June 1859 inspired the verses patriotic and anti-papal collected in national songs; published in 1860; the same year he was the only woman allowed to vote in the plebiscite exceptionally of confirmation of the annexation of the Marches and Umbria and Piedmont.
