The largest and most comprehensive exhibition of the fine arts of India and Pakistan ever to be presented in Europe opens at Burlington house, London, on November 29. Paintings, tapestries, metalwork, ancient manuscripts, sculptures and jewellery dating back to 2500 BC are included in the exhibition.
