Dogs day. More than 3000 dogs of all breeds were on show at Olympia today for the Ladies Kennel Association Show, first held since the war. There were more exhibitors, more dogs and nearly twice as many entries as for the last show in March 1939. Dachshands, Corgis, Cocker Spaniels and Barkless Basenjis were among the most popular breeds exhibited. Photo shows, Ossulton Mark, a fine Bulldog, owned by Mr R. H Galvin, of Surrey, soon found himself a job for the show started today. He was put in charge of two 7 week old Peke happens, brought the show by Mrs Rupert Waring, of Whitley, Surrey. 25 June 1971
