Fanfare rehearsals for Royal wedding. Princess Elizabeth, who has herself chosen music for her wedding to Lt Mountbatten at Westminster Abbey next month, will have a fanfare of trumpets sounded on the arrival of the King and the bride at the Abbey. This and two other fanfare sounded during the service have been composed for the occasion by the Master of the Kings Music, Sir Arnold Bax, and will be played by members of the Royal Military School of Music. The trumpeters held a rehearsal this morning. Under their conductor, Captain M Roberts, director of music at Kneller Hall, Twickenham, where the rehearsal was held.
