An exhibition of pictures of some of Australia's most beautiful women, photographed in Australia by John Lee and named a gallery of beautiful women, will open a Australia house, Strand, WC2, tomorrow, Wednesday. Picture shows: beautiful blonde Miss Betty Dawes, described as the number 1 g model of Australia, who comes from Sydney, and his portrait will be seen at the exhibition in Australia house. Miss Dawes, who hopes to model in England at the United States, is an enthusiastic sportsman and spends most of her spare time sailing, golfing and riding. The unusual hairstyle, worn shoulderlength and spiral to one side, is by Mrs Lee, wife of the photographer. 14 October 1947
