'The Minor Comes to Town'. An exhibition, which shows the mining industry in all its various stages is to be opened at the Marble Arch tomorrow by the Prime Minister. Named 'The Minor Comes to Town' and organised by the National Coal Board and the Ministry of Fuel and Power, the exhibition includes a replica of a coalface, complete with minors ponies at work. Photo shows, a Coal tub is pushed along the Gallery passed a minor at work, and exhibit in the 'Oxford Street' coalmine today (Wednesday). 10 September 1947
