The industrial and cultural life of Wales is broadly shown in all its aspects at the industrial Wales exhibition, opened at Olympia today by the right honourable Viscount portal, PC, DSO, MVO. The exhibition demonstrates primarily the development of the country's young light industries, and also the great Welsh Basic industries of coal, steel and tinplate. Picture shows: 40 loaves a minute are moulded by the Talbot multi-moulder, which is on show at the exhibition. Operated by one man, this unit is typical product of the Welsh light industries. 28 August 1947
