The 78th Trades Union Congress opened at the Dome, Brighton today. Several big issues of policy have to be decided in the Prime Minister Mr Attlee and two other Ministers, Mr George Isaacs - Minister of Labour and Mr Emanuel Shinwell - Minister of Fuel and Power, will speak during the week. The affiliated membership, represented by nearly 800 delegates, has reached record figures.
