Three killed in train crash. During the fog this morning (Monday) three people were killed and three seriously injured at Northwood Hill, Middlesex, when a train on the Metropolitan Line travelling to Watford crashed into a Baker Street Aylesbury train. Two coaches of the Watford train were telescoped and the centre compartments were burnt out. Train services are being reveresed north and south of the affected area. Photo shows, Sergeant Jack Williams, RAF, of Dorset Rise, City, who was travelling from Baker Street to Northwood in one of the trains involved in today's crash. He helped in the rescue work. 31 December 1945
