This is the view from the public galleries and the restaurant of London's 619 ft high Post Office Tower . The galleries and the restaurant are due to open to the public on 19 May after an official opening deremony by Postmaster General Mr Anthony Wedgwood Benn and Sir William Butlin . The tower wa opened operationally by British Premier Harold Wilson on 8 October 1965 , when two special stamps were issued . 3 May 1966
