White and coloured students , displaying slogan carrying placards pictured during their march from the London School of Economics to the Stock Exchange in the City of London today . More than 500 students took part in the march , organised by the committee of the London School of Economics Rhodesian Action Group , in a protest over Rhodesia . The protest march was stated to be to draw attention to ' vested interests ' in the City which students felt were preventing effective British action on Rhodesia . 19 November 1965
