The scene in the Cuban army garrison barracks at Matanzas , after the fighting which followed an attack by young rebels . Trucks entered through the barricade at upper left and proceeded to the front of administration building where the rebels dismounted and opened fire. On left is a construction company truck used by the rebels in the attack , and some of the slain attackers are seen alongside. The attack was crushed in about three hours. During the fighting ten people were believed to have been killed 1st May 1956
