The uniforms are unusual for jazz musicians ... but these six nuns play solid jaz . They are all from the Kansas City area and play at clubs or for oganisations . On 16th May they played for Leavenworth Prison inmates . The six shown rehearsing recently are Sister Mary Vicentia , bass , Sister Rita McGrath , drums , Sister Madeleva , blowing trumpet , Sister Dominic on the piano , Sister David Marie , marimba and Sister Mary Roselle who is their singer . 24 May 1969
