Sir John Hunt, explorer and mountaineer, and his 18-year-old student daughter Susan Hunt are pictured as they boarded an Iceland Airlines plane at London Airport to-night (Thursday) with an expedition to the Staunings Alps in North East Greenland sponsored by the National Association of Mixed Clubs and Girls' Clubs. The expedition, led by Sir John, compromises 12 experienced mountainers (including Lady Hunt and Susan) and scientists and 21 boys with three leaders. The boys are aged 17 to 20. Sir John, who led the successful British expedition to Everest, is Joint President of the National Association of Mixed Clubs and Girls' Clubs. 21 July 1960
