Pope John Paul II watched by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Robert Runcie signing a declaration at th Deanery at Canerbury Cathedral today to set up a new Anglican-Roman Catholic International Commision to examince the doctrinal differences which still separate the two churches. The declaration, also signed by Dr Runcis, recalls that in 1966 their predecessors had set in motion a serios dialogue between the two churches. May 29th 1982.
