Tan Wai Bok, a 46 year old Malayan, has been on trance since he was 17 years old, performing as a medium for any temple or household, curing sickness and giving free consultation of Deity. On one recent day, Tan stunned some 50 people in malacca, a town 120 kilometers south of Kuala Lumpur, by sipping oil boiling in a wok over a hot stove and made a huge fireball by blowing it over the fire.
