Madame Marthe Honau - formerly a director of the Gazette du Franc - has died in Frenes prison in France where she was serving a sentence on a charge - first preferred against her in 1932 - which made her celebrated throughout the world - that of illegally possessing herself of a police dossier and publishing it She owned and edited a weekly financial journal called Forces in which she published an article on the less reputable aspects of the Money market which quoted passeges from what was alleged to be a confidential police report about herself Although the police took action to stop the sale of the journal a good many copies were sold Photo shows Madame Merthe Hanau July 19th 1935
