In the Palazzo Venezia at Rome R Pierre Laval ( French Foreign Minister ) and Signor Mussolini ( Italian dictator ) signed the Franco-Italian agreement which they believe and hope will lead to greater understanding between the two countries - it has been revealed that the Agreement contains a disarmament clause which will materially affect the French attitude towards German re-armament if Berlin gives satisfactory political guarantees - photo shows a general view as M Laval and Signor Mussolini (right) signed the Franco-Italian Agreement in the Palazzo Venezia January 9th 1935
