Paris, Northern Railway station. This is the station where the Danish fairytale writer Hans Christian Andersen arrived, when he many times in his life travelled to Paris.Paris was much loved by HCA, he visited the town 10 times altogether, and met many important people within the literary circles. Among these were the poet Heinrich Heine, who was a big inspiration for HCA. In 1863 HCA was given free pass at the Theatre Francais and Opera Comique. It was Paris, which gave the inspiration for the tale Dryaden, (The wood Nymph). The year of 2005 is the 200-year anniversary for Hans Christian Andersen's birth. Due to this there will be a global celebration to remember and honour the Danish author.
