Learning to act in English. Working under conditions that reflect France's general economy, French actresses are not happy, and most of them want a change. Forty of them have enrolled in a school, where classes are held twice a week, to learn 'theatre' English. Most of the students have already established themselves on the French stage or screen, this is not a case of Hollywood fever for starry eyed youngsters. Not anxious for English or American citizenship, they want to leave France, make money and build up their names and eventually return to Paris.
