Biarritz - "Pelotte", The national game of the Pays Basque, is played by rival teams of thre men who throw a ball (very similar to a golf ball against a specially constructed wall. Each player has a "Chistera" (a long crescent shape basket) strapped to the right hand and with this the call is caught and thrown.
