HM Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh visited Glasgow and Paisley yesterday on the third day of their State visit to Scotland. Photo shows Mr James Wilson bowing to the Queen as he welcomes her to his home in Balfron Road, Glasgow, donated by the late Sir Harry Lauder to the Scottish Veteran's Association for disabled ex-servicemen. Mr Wilson won the Military Medal in Kohima for rescuing a wounded officer. His wife and children are on the left of the picture. 26th June 1953
