Dr walks from London to Cambridge wins boxing match, walks back. Dr William Ross, a young doctor who was only just qualified at St Mary's Hospital, London, has established something new in endurance records. Chosen box for the United Hospitals at Cambridge, he knocked out his undergraduate opponent in the second round, and then walked back to London. Dr Ross, who takes an 18 1/2 inch collar, is an enthusiastic yachtsman and has often played rugby for St Mary's Hospital. He boxes as a light heavyweight.
