Cobb's new car on view at Brooklands before going to America. The Railton car in which Mr John Cobb is to make an attempt on the world land speed record at the Utah Salt Flats at the end of August, was on view in its completed form for the first time at Brooklands before leaving for America. The car is fitted with 1,250 horsepower engines. Cobb's cockpit is situated in front of the axle in the nose of the car.
