New ?80 aeroplane demonstrated At Handsworth Aerodrome. A ?80 light aeroplane, the cheapest made, was demonstrated for the first time at Hanworth Aerodrome. The machine was designed and manufactured by Captain C. H. Latimer-Needham of Luton Aircraft. It is equipped with a motor-cycle engine which runs on ordinary commercial spirit that can be drawn from any petrol pump. The machine has a speed of 85 miles an hour with a range of 300 miles.
