University men off to the wilds . Five young men from Oxford and Cambridge Universities , lead by an experienced explorer , Mr Alfred Buxton , are leaving England shortly to make their homes in the wilds and establish missionary stations in Burma , Abyssinia and the Sudan . They will build their homes themselves and remain isolated from civilisation for five years . They are all going to virgin country and will have to tramp through swamps and jungles to reach their destination .
