The fourteenth anniversary of the Armistice which brought the Great War to a close was celebrated in London with a national pilgrimage and service at the Cenotaph in Whitehall which was attended by the King and Queen and other members of the Royal family . The King and Queen accompanied by the Duke and Duchess of York , the Duke of Gloucester , Prince George and Prince and Princess Arthur of Connaught , leaving after the ceremony . 11 November 1932
