Taana , the twelve month old pet lion of Countess de Roussy de Salles has formed an attachment with Duchess , the Countess's other pet , an alsation , and here they enjoy a romp together . The lion is free to roam at will and during the night sleeps poutside the Countess's bedroom door . Both animals live on teh De Salles farm fifteen miles outside Nairobi . 1961
