Flemington: The governor's box. This is about 1875; (the gentlemen are from the left) Sir George Bowers, Sir Hercules Robinson and Sir Anthony Musgrave. Robisnon, later Lord Rosmead, was a visitor from New South Wales, of which he was Governor; he is important in Australian racing history as the man who cleaned up the disreputable Sydney turf.
