Picture by Roger Bamber:13 May 2001: French comedians "Picto Facto" wearing giant inflatables and bouncing shoes entertain the crowds with 'Billevesees'at Brighton Pavilion during Brighton Festival's annual street theatre "Streets of Brighton 2001". The surreal concert supported by the French Embassy had the performers speaking their own musical language while playing rhythmic electronic music. The weekend festival with 141 acts and 437 performers is part of The National Street Art Festival, and was watched by over 100,000 people.
