There will be much laughter at the Royal Society of Arts during the next fortnight, when examples of humour Art through the ages are being exhibited. No similar exhibition of this nature seems to have been held in this country before, but there was one in Paris in 1911. It is certainly the first of its kind to be held by the Royal Society of Arts, which has been conducting exhibits since 1760, when it held the first exhibition in England of the works of contemporary artist.
